Task: Led the conceptualization and end to end strategy & design of Singtel’s Flagship Store & digital transformation & omnichannel integration.

BACKGROUND:

Singtel is the largest telecommunications provider in Singapore, an iconic brand, that wished to develop a new flagship (approximately 4,500 sq ft).
A project that normally requires 18 months of planning/execution Singtel needed to develop and execute in less than 10 months as they intend to relocate out of their iconic office building “Comcenter – Singtel Building” as it is scheduled to be demolished in 2024.

 

RESPONSIBLITY

Owned the project management, design partnerships, digital & omnichannel initiatives, and capability transformation.

  • Led a cross functional team comprising of senior Singtel leaders & external partners across Design
  • Operations, Sales, Technology (IT), Property, Marketing, Procurement and Partnerships to create a seamless user & shopper experience.
  • Identified existing user pain points via as-is diagnostic & plotted to-be  omnichannel solutioning.
  • Defined and mapped existing and new shopper user journeys.
  • Created & re-defined current and future user profiles.
  • Led the initiatives behind content strategy, social and live selling programs.
  • Led on-going C-suite reviews and GTM launch strategy.
  • Responsible for launch KPIs
  • Created 1st Global partner between TikTok and any telecommunications brand – TikTok Creator House by Singtel.

Task: Re-orient strategy, customer experience & drive business transformation for growth, by developing next generation commerce capabilities.

BACKGROUND:

King Power is the largest duty-free retailer in Thailand holding the exclusive license to sell duty free goods in all Thailand airports. The business
also owns & operates hotel chains, including Pullman Group, UK football division 1 club Leister City & has a significant equity stake in AirAsia. Project owner CEO Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha (aka Khun Top). King Power Groups’, core businesses were impacted significantly by COVID-19, they commissioned and partnered with Accenture Consulting to accelerate digital changes.

 

RESPONSIBLITY:

Assess as-is business analysis across international portfolio 9 business units (incl. e-com, shopping malls, football club, hotel chain)

  • Develop omnichannel capability assessment framework.
  • Assess as-is omnichannel technology capabilities (new customer touchpoints & enablers)
  • Conduct workshop with C-Level & category leads to determine omni commerce ambition & priorities.
  • P2P user journey mapping & supporting digital transformation roadmap.
  • Assess fulfilment & operations capabilities & identify gaps.

    Task: Create the covenience store of the future for www.Suning.cn

    in 2018/19 I was commissioned by China’s 3rd largest eCommerce platform to create the next generation convenience store CVS.

    They asked for blue ocean thinking, their intent was to create the world’s 1st truly seamlessly “new retail” customer experience that also created an on-going relationship with shoppers & the community, hence the need for behavioral modification techniques & thinking.

    This project was the highest priority within the organization, showcasing their entry into “new retail” in China.

    The store & the supporting solutions & platform had to be scalable quickly as they intend to roll out 20,000 formats within 3 years upon pilots’ success.

    My Task :
    Formulated new brand mission
    Defined “new retail” for China retail landscape
    Defined “new retail” in the context of the category
    Create consumer value proposition
    Provided technology solution to enable on-going patronage
    Defined platform functionalities
    Created CRM/Loyalty proposition & architecture

    Project: Next Genertaion cancer facility
    Task: Building a bolt on business model to any ecommerce platform
    Location: Phuket, Thailand

    I collaborated with https://www.vleemo.be/ on their first venture into nuclear medicine in Asia. Their ambitious goal was to build an oncology center of excellence on the island of Phuket in Thailand. It was an admirable project to help rid the world of cancer & make the world a better place.

    My Task :
    Define Consumer Value Proposition
    Create Cost Price & Revenue Model (C.P.R.)
    CPR Model = determines the optimum operating & financial parameters of the facility.
    Which cancers the facility with specialize in
    What stages 1-4 of the disease will the facility focus it’s treatment on.
    What nuclear medicine machines are required to diagnose & treat these patients.
    What resources are required to operate each specific machines (Doctors, Nurses & Technicians)
    Cost of diagnosis
    Cost of treatment
    Forecast revenue/profitability for first 7 years.
    Prepared the successful submission to the Thai Prime Minister office for BOI approval (Project approval tax exemption).
